Our 2011 year at Pigeon Mountain has continued to be a successful one. Recently our chess team represented East Auckland at the NZ Championships held in Mt Maunganui. Our team, made up of Yiwei Qi, Eugene & Jonathon Ngoi, Richard Jiang and Judd Zhann, won the North Island and N Z Championships. We thank Carol Frear for her commitment to manage and coach the team.
