KAPA HAKA News

This year, the year 6 students and teachers have been extremely busy with Kapa Haka. On 3rd September they represented Pigeon Mountain School at the Koanga Festival at Somerville Intermediate.

In week 8 they performed beautifully at the school Art Exhibition and in week 9 they chose to show the Enviro visitors their performance of Maunga Kereru. The year 6's are very grateful to Wendy Levy, Mrs Lowden and the team of volunteer sewers that managed to make new Kapa Haka uniforms for all the year 6's.

In term 4 they will look forward to a powhiri with BBI and a performance at the Westfield Mall at Pakuranga.
