Dear Community
We learned last night that Auckland will be returning to Alert Level 3. This means that school will be closed for all students OTHER THAN THOSE OF ESSENTIAL WORKERS.

Online Learning
Our teachers will spend Monday morning preparing their sites and activities, and will arrange a Google Meet to touch base with all students at a time on Monday afternoon- the teachers will email students with these details. Online learning programmes will commence fully from Tuesday.

Essential Workers
For students of essential workers, school will be accessible from 9am and will close at 3pm. Support staff will supervise the children who attend school. So we can prepare for the children of essential workers attending school next week, we have prepared a survey to record the names of the children WHO WILL NEED TO ATTEND. A flowchart has been attached to this update to help identify the children who can attend.

ONLY COMPLETE THIS SURVEY IF YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND SCHOOL NEXT WEEK.

Whilst further lockdowns can feel disruptive and unsettling, our teachers are highly prepared and have refined their online learning programmes to meet the educational and emotional needs of our students.

We are able to provide devices to families who do not have any devices at home for students to use- please contact your child’s classroom teacher if you do not have a device at home.

Site Safety
Please note- for the safety and wellbeing of the staff and students who are attending school during Alert Level 3, our site and facilities (including playgrounds and canopy area) are CLOSED to the public. Please remain at home during the lockdown for the safety of our community.

Please stay safe and look after one another- Kia Kaha.
